Connecting the 'in Case' Rear Flue

Internal Fitting Kit part no. 7215374 is available for the
'In Case' Rear Flue. It can be used where access to
'make good' outside is difficult or not possible
e.g. blocks of flats.
1. Position the fixing template on the wall ensuring it is level.
Mark the position of the most suitable upper fixing slots for the
wall bracket (Fig. 33). The two lower slots MUST be used, and it
is recommended that the side slot is used where possible
Side Slot
(Fig. 32).
2. Mark the position of the centre of the flue hole. If required
mark the centrelines of the gas supply, condensate drain and
heating flow & return pipes. Remove the template (Fig. 33).
3. Drill and plug the fixing holes, and make a hole Ø110mm for
the flue.
4. Measure the wall thickness. This dimension will be known as
'A'.
5. Insert the telescopic flue into the wall bracket and secure with
the three screws (Fig. 34).
6. Measuring from the wall bracket to the edge of the terminal,
adjust the telescopic flue to dimension 'A', add another 17mm to
this dimension (Figs. 34 & 35).
7. Seal the joint with the tape provided and secure with the two
screws (Figs. 34 & 35). Apply the self adhesive foam seal to the
wall bracket and flue joint to prevent draughts when fitting to a
cavity wall (Fig. 35a).
8. Pass the assembled wall bracket and flue through the hole in
the wall. Secure the wall bracket using suitable screws,
ensuring that the bracket is level before finally tightening the
screws (Fig. 36).
