The depth of cut is influenced by uneven
ground as well as height and working
position of the operator. For this reason,
adjust the wheel (2) so that the
N
blade (3) barely touches the ground
when the machine is held in a
normal working posture or
penetrates the ground at most to a
depth (B) of 5 mm.
Tighten wingnut clockwise

Standing in the normal working
N
position, check the depth of cut
again – correct it if necessary

WARNING
Do not adjust the deflector.
The deflector has been set by the
manufacturer so that the arrow on the
deflector and the open side point away
from the operator. This ensures that
cuttings and other debris will be directed
away from the machine and operator.
