Set the DIP Switch

For either the DX or DX2 display controller, slide switch 1 on DIP switch S2 into the
ON position to enable VGA mode. Enable VGA on only one (1) board when you install
multiple boards, Disable VGA on all boards if you are using a separate VGA card.
For some Dell systems, you may need to enable VESA modes in order to see output
on the screen during the boot process. If so, slide switch 2 on DIP switch S2 into the
ON position.

Switch settings
For single desktop mode, slide
switch 3 into the ON position.
The default landscape mode, set
by switch 4, is unavailable for the
Dome C5i display.
Warning
If you leave the computer turned
on, you could get an electric shock
and cause damage to the system
components.
Remove the display controller
slowly from its package and static-
shielding bag to prevent an
electrostatic discharge.
Static electricity can damage the
controller. When touching the board
or parts of the motherboard, take
these precautions:
Wear an antistatic wrist strap.
Discharge your body's static
electricity repeatedly by
touching the power supply
or the metal surface of the
computer chassis.
