How to know the version
Before you start, check the system program version of your S-4000R.
Items Required
• S-4000R
• REMOTE Cable ( included with the S-4000R )
• One S-4000S, S-4000H, S-1608, S-0816, or S-2416 unit
Verification Procedure
1. Make sure the power to the S-4000S, S-4000H, S-1608, S-0816, or S-2416 is
turned off, then using the REMOTE cable, connect the S-4000R to the
REMOTE connector on the unit.
2. On the S-4000R, simultaneously press and hold [ STORE ], [ CLIP CLEAR ], and
[ PAD ], and turn on the power.
3. Use the CLIP and SIG indicators and the CHANNEL indicator on the S-4000R to
verify the current version. < Version Display > The CLIP and SIG indicators
indicate the units' place and the first place to the right of the decimal point of
the version number. Example: Channel 10 lighted 1.0** Example: Channel 24
lighted 2.4** The CHANNEL display indicates the second and third places to
the right of the decimal point. Example: CHANNEL display of 00
*.*00 Example: CHANNEL display of 15 *.*15 As an example, if the version
number is 1.010, the CLIP and SIG indicators light up for channel 10, and the
CHANNEL display lights up for 10. This update is not required if the version is
1.020 or higher.
4. After verifying the version, turn off the power.
