Attaching the Antenna

Turn the MTP830 Off before installing or removing the antenna.
Insert the bottom of the antenna into the screw-in base on the top of
the MTP830. Turn clockwise until snug. Do not force.
Powering On/Off (On
To power On, press and hold
check and registration routine. After successful registration, the
MTP830 is in service.
To power Off, press and hold
Powering Off message is displayed.

Powering On (Emergency Button)

Press and hold the Emergency button to power On. The MTP830
will power On in Emergency Mode or in standard mode
(as programmed).

Powering On with Transmit Inhibit (TXI) Active

Transmit Inhibit is a feature allowing you to switch off transmission
before entering a Radio Frequency (RF) sensitive area. To activate
this feature, press
> TXI Mode > Activate.
