    Tips for environmental protection • Lightly soiled laundry may be washed without prewashing in order to save detergent, water and time (the environment is protected too!). • The machine works more economically if it is fully loaded. • When small loads are washed, use only half to two thirds of the recommended amount of detergent.

    Installation Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. Using a spanner, unscrew and remove the rear right-hand bolt and lay the machine on its back, taking care not to squash the hoses. This can be avoided by placing one of the corner packing pieces between the machine and the floor.

    Installation Positioning Install the machine on a flat hard floor. Make sure that air circulation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. Check that the machine does not touch the wall or other kitchen units. • The floor surface must be clean and dry, without any wax or polish residue to avoid any possibility of sliding.

    Installation Water inlet Connect the water inlet hose to a separate tap with a 3/4" thread. The other end of inlet hose which connects to P1088 the machine can be turned in any direction. Simply loosen the fitting, rotate the hose and retighten the fitting, making sure there are no water leaks.
