(1) Input the NTSC black and white pattern(color off).
(2) Select the STANDARD mode with [VIDEO STATUS]
key.
(3) Select the FULL mode.
(4) Confirm that the COLOR TEMPERATURE is set at
the LOW.
(5) Select 1.PICTURE/SOUND from the SERVICE
MENU.
(6) Confirm the initial setting values of the < S14 >
(CUTOFF R), < S16 > (CUTOFF G), < S18 >
(CUTOFF B).
(7) Select the 3.WHITE BALANCE from SERVICE
MENU.
(8) Display the horizontal line by pressing the [1] key.
(9) Turn the SCREEN VR all the way to the left, then
turn it gradually clockwise until either one of the red,
blue or green color is faintly visible.
(10) Use the [7]~[9], [100+], [0], [RETURN+/TV] keys and
adjust the other 2 colors to where the horizontal line
appears white.
(11) Press the [MUTING] key to memorize the set value.
(12) Press the [4] key to release the horizontal line mode.
(13) If there is a gap with the setting values, repeat the
steps 5. to 11. for readjustment.
(14) Input
the
COMPONENT VIDEO terminal.
(15) Repeat the steps 5. to 11. as above.
(16) Confirm the 480i low-light at the 3.WHITE BALANCE
has been adjusted properly.
(17) Input the 1080i component video signal to the
COMPONENT VIDEO terminal.
(18) Repeat the steps 5. to 11. as above.
(19) Confirm that 1080i low-light at the 3.WHITE
BALANCE has been adjusted properly.
