IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read instructions - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated.

• Cleaning - Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
• Attachments - Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer as they may cause hazards.
• Water and Moisture - Do not use this product near water-for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub; in a wet basement; or near a swimming pool; and the like.
• Accessories - Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The product may fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult and serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold with the product. Any mounting of the product should follow the manufacturer's instructions, and should use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
• Cart - A product and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
• Ventilation - Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer's instructions have been adhered to.
• Power Sources - This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label and connected to a MAINS socket outlet with a protective earthing connection. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company.
• Power-Cord Protection - Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the product.
• Mains Plug - Where the mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
• Outdoor Antenna Grounding - If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the product, be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges. Article 810 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, provides information with regard to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of antenna discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode.
• Lightning - For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.
• Power Lines - An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.
• Overloading - Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
• Flame Sources - No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product.
• Object and Liquid Entry - Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
• Headphones - Excessive sound pressure form earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
• Damage Requiring Service - Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
  • When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
  • If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product.
  • If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
  • If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation.
  • If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way.
  • When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance-this indicates a need for service.
• Replacement Parts - When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
• Battery Disposal - When disposing of used batteries, please comply with governmental regulations or environmental public instruction's rules that apply in your country or area.
• Safety Check - Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.
• Wall or Ceiling Mounting - The product should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.

SAVE THE PACKAGING

Please save the box and the packaging that came with your C 3050. Should you move or need to transport your C 3050, this is the safest container to use. We've seen too many otherwise perfect components damaged in transit for lack of a proper shipping carton. So please, save that box!

CHOOSING A LOCATION

Choose a location that is well ventilated (with at least several inches to both sides and behind), and that will provide a clear line of sight, within 23 feet/7 meters, between the C 3050's front panel and your primary listening/viewing position. This will ensure reliable infrared remote control communications. The C 3050 generates a modest amount of heat, but nothing that should trouble adjacent components. It is perfectly possible to stack the C 3050 atop other components, but the reverse usually should be avoided.

It is especially important that sufficient ventilation be provided. If you are contemplating placing the C 3050 within a cabinet or other furniture, consult your NAD audio/video specialist for advice on providing adequate airflow.

NOTES ON INSTALLATION

• Place your C 3050 on a firm, level surface.
• Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near sources of heat and damp.
• Do not place the unit on a soft surface like a carpet.
• Allow adequate ventilation.
• Make sure the unit is switched off before making any connections.
• Use high quality leads and sockets for optimum performance and reliability.
• Ensure that leads and sockets are not damaged in any way and all sockets are firmly pushed home.
• Should water get into your C 3050, shut off the power to the unit and remove the plug from the AC socket. Have the unit inspected by a qualified service technician before attempting to use it again.
• Use a dry soft cloth to clean the unit. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with soapy water. Do not use solutions containing benzol or other volatile agents.

DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER. THERE ARE NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE.

BARE WIRES AND PIN CONNECTORS

The terminals marked with this symbol are hazardous live. External wiring connected to these terminals requires installation by an instructed person or the use of ready-made leads or cords.

Bare wires and pin sockets should be inserted into the hole in the shaft of the terminal. Unscrew the speaker terminal's plastic bushing until the hole in the screw shaft is revealed. Insert the pin or bare cable end into the hole and secure the cable by tightening down the terminal's bushing. Ensure bare wire from the speaker cables does not touch the back panel or another socket. Ensure that there is only 1/2" (1cm) of bare cable or pin and no loose strands of speaker wire.

FACTORY RESET

Factory reset is recommended if your C 3050 is malfunctioning or has hanged up.

C 3050 can be factory reset or restored to factory default settings using the following method.

1. With the C 3050 at operating mode, switch OFF the rear panel POWER switch.
2. Press and hold the front panel POWER button and while doing so, switch ON the rear panel POWER switch. Do not release hold of the POWER button.
3. Hold down the POWER button for more than 30 seconds or until the VU meter illuminates twice (white with yellow background). This indicates that the factory reset is initiated. Release hold of POWER button.
4. The front panel Power LED indicator will turn off and then cycle to solid amber. C 3050 factory reset is completed when the front panel Power LED indicator turns solid amber and the VU meter not illuminated or turned off.

Releasing the front panel POWER button at any time before the VU meter illuminates twice will cancel the factory reset and leave the
C 3050 Upgrade Mode. Just start again the procedure for Factory Reset.

IDENTIFICATION OF CONTROLS - FRONT PANEL

NAD VU METER

• The C 3050 is equipped with a pair of Power meters that monitors the Input Signal or Speaker Output levels.
• Both Power meters are calibrated in Watts and dB (decibel) that corresponds to an 8-ohm load.
• Refer also to item about VU METER in the IDENTIFICATION OF CONTROLS – REAR PANEL.

POWER LED INDICATOR

• This indicator will light up amber when the C 3050 is at standby mode.
• When the C 3050 is powered up from standby mode, this indicator will illuminate green.
• In cases of serious abuse of the C 3050, such as excessively low loudspeaker impedance and short circuit, the C 3050 will engage its Protection circuitry, indicated by the Power LED turning from green to red and the sound being muted.
  
  In such Protection circuit scenario, turn OFF the C 3050 via the rear panel POWER switch. Wait for it to cool down and/or check the speaker connections. Once the cause for the protection circuitry to engage has been removed, switch ON the rear panel POWER switch. Then press the front panel POWER button to resume normal operation.

PHONES

• A 1/4" stereo jack socket is supplied for headphone listening and will work with conventional headphones of any impedance.
• The headphone socket will work in parallel with the selected speakers. To listen to headphones only, rotate SPEAKERS knob to OFF position.
• The volume, tone and balance controls are operative for headphone listening.
• Use a suitable adapter to connect headphones with other types of sockets, such as 3.5mm "personal stereo" jack plugs.

NOTE: Make certain that the volume control is turned to minimum (fully counterclockwise with Volume Level LED Indicator only at amber color) before connecting or disconnecting headphones. Listening at high levels can damage your hearing.

POWER BUTTON

• With the rear panel POWER switch set to ON position, press this button to power up the C 3050 from standby mode. The Power LED indicator will turn from amber to green. The NAD VU meter will also illuminate from amber to white with yellow background. The C 3050 is ready for operation when the NAD VU meter is illuminated white with yellow background.
• Pressing the Power button again turns the unit back to standby mode. The Power LED indicator will change from green to amber color. The NAD VU meter will also turn off.
• The Power button cannot activate the C 3050 if the rear panel POWER switch is off.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Conditions for Power button to activate

1. Connect the plug of the supplied power cord to a mains power outlet while ensuring that the other end of the power cord is firmly connected to C 3050's AC Mains input socket.
2. The rear panel POWER switch must be set to ON.

AUTO STANDBY

Auto Standby feature is an integral feature of C 3050 that conforms to European ecodesign regulations. The C 3050 can be setup to automatically go to standby mode if there is no user interface interaction or no audio at current source within 15 minutes. Follow below procedure to enable or disable auto standby mode. Refer also to Network Standby mode below.

ENABLE/DISABLE AUTO STANDBY MODE
At operating mode, press and hold front panel PHONO button until PHONO Source LED indicator flashes.

Enabled – PHONO Source LED indicator flashes twice.
Disabled - PHONO Source LED indicator flashes once.

NETWORK STANDBY MODE

The C 3050 is at network Standby Mode by default or after factory reset. If there is no user interface interaction and no active source input within 15 minutes, the unit switches to Network Standby mode at reduced system performance level (less than 2W).

• Network and Bluetooth connections are maintained at network standby mode.
• At Network Standby mode, the C 3050 can be switched back to operating mode using any of the following methods.
  • Resume playback of analog or digital sources
  • Activate or play network connected App
  • Play paired Bluetooth source
  • Press any of the SOURCE buttons
  • Press front panel POWER or SR 10 ON button

DEEP STANDBY MODE

At Deep Standby mode, the C 3050 switches to standby mode at lowest power consumption (less than 0.5W).

SET C 3050 TO DEEP STANDBY MODE

1. At operating mode, press and hold the front panel POWER button until the Power LED indicator flashes twice.
2. Release hold of front panel POWER button. Unit will go to Deep Standby mode.
3. At Deep Standby mode, the C 3050 can be switched back to operating mode using only the following methods.
   • Press any of the SOURCE buttons
   • Press front panel POWER or SR 10 ON button
4. The C 3050 switches to Network Standby mode when it is powered up from Deep Standby mode. Repeat Step 1 to return C 3050 to Deep Standby mode.

REMOTE SENSOR

• Point the SR 10 remote control at the remote sensor and press the buttons.
• Do not expose the remote sensor of the C 3050 to a strong light source such as direct sunlight or illumination. If you do so, you may not be able to operate the C 3050 with the remote control.

Distance: About 23ft (7m) from the front of the remote sensor.
Angle: About 30^o in each direction of the front of the remote sensor.

TONE CONTROLS

• The C 3050 is fitted with BASS and TREBLE tone controls to adjust the tonal balance of your system. The 12 o'clock position is "flat" with no boost or cut, and an indent indicates this position.
• Rotate the control clockwise to increase Bass or Treble level. Rotate the control counterclockwise to decrease Bass or Treble level.

SOURCE INPUT SELECTORS

• These buttons select the active Source input to the C 3050 and the signal sent to the speakers, headphones and the PRE OUT sockets.

PHONO: The turntable connected to the rear panel PHONO input sockets is selected as the active Source.
LINE: The line-level source connected to the rear panel LINE input sockets is selected as the active Source.
OPTICAL: The digital optical source connected to the rear panel OPTICAL input socket is selected as the active Source.
COAX: The digital coaxial source connected to the rear panel COAXIAL input socket is selected as the active Source.
HDMI: The HDMI output source connected to the rear panel HDMI input socket is selected as the active Source.

• Pressing any of the Source Input Selector buttons will also power up the C 3050 from standby mode.

SOURCE INPUT LED INDICATORS

• When a Source input is selected, the corresponding Source input LED indicator located above said Source input button will illuminate green.

SPEAKERS (A, B, A+B, OFF)

Rotate SPEAKERS knob to select
A: Select SPEAKERS A as the active speaker. SPEAKERS B is disabled or inactive.
B: Select SPEAKERS B as the active speaker. SPEAKERS A is disabled or inactive.
A+B: Select both SPEAKERS A and SPEAKERS B as the active speakers.
OFF: Both SPEAKERS A and SPEAKERS B are inactive or disabled.

• Output signal is always present at PHONES jack at all SPEAKER selector settings. When using headphones, it is normally advisable to set the SPEAKER selector control knob to "OFF" muting both SPEAKERS A and B.

BALANCE

• The BALANCE control adjusts the relative levels of the left and right speakers. The 12 o'clock position provides equal level to the left and right channels. A detent indicates this position.
• Rotating the control clockwise moves the balance towards the right.
  Rotating the control counterclockwise moves the balance to the left.

BluOS/MDC

• This BluOS/MDC cap touch sensing button is non-functional unless there is an applicable MDC2 module installed like the MDC2 BluOS D.
• With the optional MDC2 BluOS D installed, press BluOS/MDC cap touch sensing button to select BluOS as the active Source.
  
  Below is a table of the BluOS/MDC Blink codes when the optional MDC2 BluOS D is installed.

BLUETOOTH

• Press BLUETOOTH cap touch sensing button to select Bluetooth as the active Source. Refer also to guideline below on how to setup Bluetooth as a Source.

BLUETOOTH AS A SOURCE

Initiate pairing of your Bluetooth device with C 3050 by following below procedure.

1. Ensure that the supplied Bluetooth antenna is connected to the rear panel BT antenna terminal. Ensure also that your Bluetooth device is active or turned ON.
2. Using your iOS, Android or your Bluetooth device, go to Settings – Bluetooth and then scan for Bluetooth devices.
3. Select the unique device ID of your C 3050 among the available devices listed in your Bluetooth settings. Pair or connect together your C 3050 and Bluetooth device.
4. Upon successful pairing of your Bluetooth device and C 3050, select Bluetooth as the active Source and start listening to music playback from your Bluetooth device.

VOLUME LEVEL LED INDICATORS

• This series of LEDs illuminate one by one as the volume level increases and extinguishes one by one as the volume level decreases.
• LED at amber alone indicates that the volume level is at the minimum.

VOLUME

• The VOLUME control adjusts the overall loudness of the signal sent to the speakers and headphones.
• The Volume control is characterized by perfect signal tracking and channel balance. It provides a highly linear and low noise operation.
• Turn clockwise to increase the volume level and counterclockwise to lower it.

IDENTIFICATION OF CONTROLS - REAR PANEL

ATTENTION
Please make sure that the C 3050 is powered off or unplugged from the mains power source before making any connections. It is also advisable to power down or unplug all associated components while making or breaking any signal or AC power connections.

HDMI eARC

• Connect to TV that supports HDMI Control (CEC) and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functions. HDMI CEC and eARC functions are possible if external devices that also support these features are interconnected with C 3050 via HDMI connection.
• Use HDMI cable to connect HDMI eARC to corresponding HDMI eARC port of TV. Use HDMI cable that has Ultra High-Speed HDMI Certification Label to enjoy support for larger bandwidth and high bitrate format.
• With eARC connection established, C 3050 will output audio signal from TV.

• Ensure that the audio setting/format of eARC-connected devices to C 3050 is set to PCM only.
• Only audio output signal from TV is supported by HDMI eARC port.
• There is no video output at HDMI eARC port of C 3050.

CEC POWER

CEC Power allows the C 3050 to be powered up or down by an external TV connected via HDMI eARC port.

Enable/Disable CEC Power
At operating mode, press and hold front panel HDMI button until HDMI Source LED flashes.

Enabled - HDMI Source LED will flash twice.
Disabled - HDMI Source LED will flash once.

DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL /COAXIAL)

• Connect to the corresponding optical and coaxial digital output of sources such as CD or BD/DVD players, digital cable box, digital tuners and other applicable components.

PHONO IN

• Input for a Moving Magnet (MM) phono cartridge only. Connect the twin RCA-to-RCA lead from your turntable to this input if you are using a Moving Magnet cartridge.
• If your turntable includes a ground/earth lead, it can be connected to the Ground Terminal.

GROUND TERMINAL

• Ensure that the C 3050 is plugged-in to a grounded AC wall outlet.
• If necessary, use this ground terminal to connect to ground a phono or turntable source for PHONO input.
• If a separate earth ground is necessary, use this terminal to ground your C 3050. The C 3050 can be connected to ground by connecting a ground lead wire or similar to this terminal. After insertion, tighten the terminal to secure the lead.

LINE IN

• Input for line level sources such as CD player, tuner or any compatible devices. Use dual RCA-to-RCA lead to connect the source device's left and right "Audio Output" to this Line input port.

MAIN IN

• Connections to an external preamplifier or processor, such as a surround sound decoder.
• In normal use, this should be connected to the PRE OUT sockets with the links supplied. To connect your C 3050 to an external processor or preamplifier, remove first these links.
• Use dual RCA-to-RCA lead to connect the left and right "Audio Output" of the external preamplifier or processor to the MAIN IN sockets.
• Always turn OFF the C 3050 and associated external preamplifiers before connecting or disconnecting anything to the MAIN IN sockets.

PRE OUT

• Use dual RCA-to-RCA lead to connect PRE-OUT to the corresponding analog audio input of compatible devices such as amplifiers, receivers or other applicable devices. This makes it possible to use the C 3050 as a preamplifier to such devices.
• In normal use, this should be connected to the MAIN IN sockets with the links supplied. To connect your C 3050 to an external processor or amplifier, remove first these links.
• The PRE OUT output signal will be affected by the C 3050's volume and tone control settings.
• Always turn OFF the C 3050 and associated external power amplifiers before connecting or disconnecting anything to the PRE OUT sockets.

SUBW

• Connect SUBW to the low level input of corresponding powered subwoofer.
• Low frequency information up to 80 Hz is sent to the connected subwoofer.

SPEAKERS A, B

• The C 3050 is equipped with two sets of speaker terminals. Use the SPEAKERS A terminals for the "main" speakers and use the SPEAKERS B terminals for a second pair, for example, extension speakers located in another room.
• Connect C 3050's Right speaker terminals marked "R +" and "R-" to the corresponding "+" and " - " terminals of your designated right speaker. Repeat the same for C 3050's Left speaker terminals and corresponding left speaker.
• Double check the speaker connections before powering up the C 3050.
• Refer also to item about SPEAKERS SELECTOR (A, B, A+B, OFF) in the IDENTIFICATION OF CONTROLS – FRONT PANEL.

AC MAINS INPUT

• The C 3050 comes supplied with two separate mains power cords. Select the mains power cord appropriate for your region.
• Before connecting the plug to the mains power outlet, ensure that the other of end of the power cord is firmly connected to the C 3050's AC Mains input socket.
• Always disconnect the mains power plug from the mains power outlet before disconnecting the other of end of the power cord from the C 3050's AC Mains input socket.

FUSE HOLDER

• Only qualified NAD service technicians can have access to this fuse holder. Opening this fuse holder may cause damage thus voiding the warranty of your C 3050.

BLUETOOTH ANTENNA TERMINAL

• Connect the supplied Bluetooth antenna to this Bluetooth antenna terminal.

SERVICE

• Service port is for internal use only and not for customer use.

IR IN

• This input is connected to the output of an IR (infrared) repeater (Xantech or similar) or the IR output of another compatible device to allow control of the C 3050 from a remote location.

+12V TRIGGER OUT

• The +12V TRIGGER OUT is used for controlling external equipment equipped with a +12V trigger input.
• Connect this +12V TRIGGER OUT to the other equipment's corresponding +12V DC input jack using a mono cable with 3.5mm male plug.
• This output will be 12V when the C 3050 is ON and 0V when it is either OFF or in standby mode.

VU METER

• Directs the NAD VU meter in the front panel to monitor Input Signal or Speaker Output

Input Signal: Monitor and reflect current Source input signal

POWER

• Supplies the AC mains power to C 3050.
• When the POWER switch is set to ON position, the C 3050 goes to standby mode as shown by the amber status condition of the front panel Power LED indicator.
• Press the front panel Power button, SR 10 ON button or any of the Source Input selector buttons to power up the C 3050 from standby mode.
• If you do not intend to use the C 3050 for long periods of time (such as when on vacation), switch off the POWER switch.
• With rear panel POWER switched OFF, the C 3050 cannot be powered up by the front panel Power button, SR 10 ON button or any of the Source Input selector buttons.

MDC2 UPGRADE SLOTS

C 3050 supports NAD's MDC2 architecture. By enabling two-way communications between the module and component, MDC2 opens up the future for new upgrades.

MDC2 BLUOS-D

The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module lets listeners play music from their favourite streaming services through the C 3050. MDC2 BluOS-D is equipped with Wi-Fi and Ethernet and uses the acclaimed BluOS Controller app for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.

Like all BluOS-enabled products, the MDC2 BluOS-D has integrated support for dozens of streaming services and supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. Two-way communications also enable the MDC2 BluOS-D to stream music from sources connected to the C 3050 to BluOS-enabled components in other rooms.

The MDC2 BluOS-D comes with Dirac Live® Limited Bandwidth (20Hz – 500Hz) installed with the option for advanced users to upgrade to the Dirac Live Full Frequency version. Dirac Live function lets you measure your room's acoustics using a supplied microphone and intuitive app, and then upload correction curves to the MDC2 BluOS-D. By compensating for acoustic anomalies in your listening environment, Dirac Live dramatically improves bass clarity, imaging, and timbral accuracy. Thanks to its two-way architecture, the MDC2 BluOS-D performs room correction for all sources connected to your C 3050. SR 10 REMOTE CONTROL

The SR 10 remote control handset handles the key functions of the C 3050. It can also control up to 4 devices. The SR 10 can operate up to a distance of 23 ft (7m). Alkaline batteries are recommended for maximum operating life. Two AA batteries must be fitted in the battery compartment at the rear of the remote control handset. When replacing batteries, check that they have been put in the right way round, as indicated on the base of the battery compartment.

• SR 10 function buttons not discussed, designated or highlighted indicate they are not applicable or functional for the particular device.
• The LED indicator between ON and OFF buttons will flash blue whenever a control button is pressed.

Select AMP from the DEVICE SELECTOR buttons to initiate the following C 3050 remote control commands.

1. ON/OFF: The SR 10 remote has separate ON and OFF buttons. Press ON to switch C 3050 from Standby to operating mode. Press OFF to switch to Standby mode.
   
2. DEVICE SELECTOR: A Device Selector button determines only what component the SR 10 will command; it does not perform any function on the C 3050. Press desired Device Selector button for the applicable buttons to be directed to a "page" of commands relevant to the selected device. Upon selecting a Device, you can now press the corresponding SR 10 control buttons applicable for the selected Device.
   
3. MUTE: Press [MUTE] button to temporarily switch OFF sound to the speakers and headphones. MUTE mode is indicated by the amber LED being the only illuminated among the VOLUME LEVEL LED indicators; the rest of the LEDs are not lit. Press MUTE again to restore sound. Adjusting the volume level via the SR 10 or the front panel volume knob will automatically release the mute function.
   
4. VOL []: Press [] button to increase or decrease the volume level. Release the button when the desired level is reached. The VOLUME LEVEL LED indicators will illuminate one by one as the volume level increases and extinguishes one by one as the volume level decreases.
   
5. SOURCE []: Toggle through source input selections
6. EQ: With optional MDC2 BluOS D installed and Dirac Live calibration completed, use EQ to select available saved Dirac Filter settings.
7. NUMERIC BUTTONS: The numeric buttons allow for direct selection of Source input. Press corresponding number button to directly select Source.

8. : Reduce, turn off or restore display brightness of SOURCE INPUT and VOLUME LEVEL LED indicators. There are 6 levels of LED brightness when toggling the DIM button. 0 is off and 5 is the brightest.
   
9. With optional MDC2 BluOS D installed and while at BluOS Source, select
   : Play or pause playback
   : Skip back to the beginning of current song
   : Skip forward to the next song

CD PLAYER CONTROL (applicable to NAD CD Players): Select CD among the DEVICE SELECTOR buttons to gain access to the following applicable control buttons. Check the owner's manual of your applicable NAD CD Player for control button compatibility.

ON/OFF: Press ON to switch CD player from Standby to operating mode. Press OFF to switch to Standby mode.

Ensure that your applicable NAD product is set to BluOS source.

AUX PLAYER CONTROL (applicable to NAD Tuners): Select AUX among the DEVICE SELECTOR buttons to gain access to the following applicable control buttons. The AUX device is defaulted to NAD Tuner device remote control codes.

SOURCE []: Step up or down between AM or FM frequencies

: Step up or down between stored radio presets
: Step up or down between AM or FM frequencies
ENTER: In AM/FM mode, toggle to select Preset or Tune mode. In DAB mode, press and hold to check signal strength.

NUMERIC BUTTONS (1-9, 0): Use the numeric buttons to directly key-in frequency number of desired AM or FM station

INFO: Toggle to display supplied information about the current radio station and applicable media being played. Some radio stations may not support any display information.

: Toggle to select AM, FM, DAB or XM band (if applicable)
: Step up or down between stored radio presets

USING THE SR 10 REMOTE CONTROL LIBRARY

The SR 10 can store a different library of default NAD codes for each of its DEVICE SELECTO "pages." If the original default library does not control your NAD CD player, BluOS player or Tuner, follow the procedure below to change the library code. Refer also to the table below for a list of applicable NAD Library Codes with their corresponding NAD models.

LOAD ANOTHER LIBRARY CODE

Example: Load NAD DVD Player T 517 library codes to SR 10's "AUX"device.

1. Press and hold [AUX] in the DEVICE SELECTOR section of SR 10.
2. While holding down the device button AUX, press "2" and "2" using SR 10's numeric buttons. "22" is the corresponding library code for T 517.
3. Press [ENTER] while still holding down the device button (AUX). The AUX device selector will flash once to indicate that the library input is successful. Both the device selector button (AUX) and [ENTER] can now be released.

The SR 10 may not necessarily contain all the control buttons applicable for the abovementioned NAD products. Use the prescribed remote control of the specific NAD product for a full complement of applicable remote control buttons.

RESET SR 10 TO ITS FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS

The SR 10 remote control can be restored to its factory default settings (including default libraries) by the following procedures.

1. Press and hold [ON] and buttons.
2. As soon as [AMP] device button lights up, release hold of both [ON] and buttons.
3. If the [CD] device button flashes twice, the SR 10 factory reset is completed.
