The device weighs approx. 5.4 kg. Hold the device securely in your hand during
installation.
The devices are intended for fixed installation.

Observe the installation regulations in accordance with EN 60079-14 during
•
installation.
The SIMATIC CFU PA bundle with aluminum housing contains cable glands.
•
Supplementary information: See technical specifications. The installation of
specially certified cable and conductor entries and blanking and sealing
plugs is possible. Only permanently installed cables and lines may be
inserted. The operator has to ensure the appropriate strain relief. Before
installing the cover, check the seal for damage and proper seating. Tighten
screws and cable glands using the correct tightening torque, see list of
torque values in the manual.
Wiring
Observe the installation instructions in accordance with EN 60079-14 and

country-specific regulations when laying the cables and wiring.
Before connecting them, the cables must be stripped over the whole
•
length stated in the manual.
Ensure intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe cables are completely
•
separate during wiring. Install them in separate cable channels.
Use cable type A, e.g. PB FC Process Cable (blue) as the bus cable,
•
6XV1830-5EH10.
The cross-section of the ground connection must consist of a conductor with
•
at least 4 mm
