C.PLL Frequency Synthesized The PLL circuit is used to control the VCO to generate the local OSC frequency for receiving & transmission frequency. (1) PLL Circuit The XA1 is 10.24MHz crystal which is used to generate a standard frequency for PLL chip (U6), it will divide to 5KHz reference frequency to control VCO frequency.

The XA1 is 10.24MHz crystal which is used to generate a standard frequency for PLL chip (U6), it will divide to 5KHz reference frequency to control VCO frequency. The U6 pin5 is charge pump output, it connect to VCO D22, D23 through low pass filter R222, E11, R219,218, E10, E9, R158. The U6 pin8 is RF input from VCO OUT (Q29).
