How to Turn the Handset On
Hold down
until for 2 seconds.

•If the phone is in Auto Lock mode the "L o c k c o d e ?" message will appear on the screen.
You must enter the 4-digit lock code to use the phone. You can make emergency calls
in Auto Lock mode. Initial lock code will be "0 0 0 0" (refer to p.51).
•If an error message appears on the screen, contact your local dealer.
How to Turn the Handset Off
Hold down
until the phone

powers off.
Use only the [
] button to turn off the phone.
Turning off the phone by removing the battery
could result in memory damage.
•If the phone does not power on or acts abnormally, remove
and reinstall the battery.
