1. Plug indoor weather forecast sensor into indoor sensor jack on main unit. Make sure that the plug is inserted securely and maintain a certain distance between the sensor and main unit to avoid heat interference.
2. Never expose the product to direct sunlight for extended periods. Such treatment may result in malfunction. The outdoor sensor need to be put upright but not horizontal. Please install batteries inside the sensor before first use, Remove the batteries whenever you are planning to store the product for a long period of time.
3. The maximum transmission range between outdoor sensor and main unit is 50m in an open spaces. Avoid placing the sensor close to the obstructions that could block the signal (e.g. walls with steel reinforcement) which may affect the transmission.

1. The main unit will be turned on automatically, once plugging the adaptor into the DC power jack
2. TW686 will show two preloaded pictures, if no memory card or USB drive photos available to display.
3. In main menu page, insert memory card or USB drive and then the photos inside the memory will be displayed as a slideshow single mode automatically.
4. In weather forecast screen, insert memory card or USB drive and then the photos inside the memory will be displayed on the weather forecast screen's small window as a slideshow automatically.

3. In the picture preview mode, you can press and hold Menu button for 3 seconds to edit pictures. The editing menu includes the below functions.
   

• Press or button to select Delete icon and press Enter button. A reminder will appear on the screen, Delete File? Press Enter button to confirm or press Menu button to cancel.
• If you want to delete more than one file in one time, choose Select icon and press Enter button, a star icon will be shown on the selected pictures. (To select more files, repeat the above steps.)
• Select Setting icon and press Enter to the setting mode.

To slideshow pictures, press or icon to select picture, and then press Enter.
Note: Large size file takes longer time of loading for opening.

• Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature or humidity.
• Do not cover the ventilation holes with any items such as newspapers, curtains etc.
• Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid over it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials.
• Do not tamper with the unit's internal components. This invalidates the warranty.
• Only use fresh batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.
• Images shown in this manual may differ from the actual display.
• When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected separately for special treatment.
• Placement of this product on certain types of wood may result in damage to its finish for which Oregon Scientific will not be responsible. Consult the furniture manufacturer's care instructions for information.
• The contents of this manual may not be reproduced without the permission of the manufacturer.
• Do not dispose old batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
• Please note that some units are equipped with a battery safety strip. Remove the strip from the battery compartment before first use.
