3.6.1 Setting the Device ID
All SBUS modules in the system must have a unique number (1-31) to identify them to the FACP. Use the DIP switch on the 5496 board to
set the module ID number. Figure 3.1 shows the location of the DIP switch on the board. Figure 3.6 below shows DIP switch settings and the
corresponding module ID numbers. Note that address #0 is invalid and cannot be used.

3.7 Notification Appliance Wiring

Not all devices can use the Sync feature. Be sure to check the list of compatible appliances in the Silent Knight Device Compatibility Docu-
ment P/N LS10167-004SK-E to ensure the device you have chosen will work with this feature.
3.7.1 Class A Supervised Wiring
Figure 3.7 shows how to wire for Class A output supervision. Use in/out wiring methods for proper supervision.
