Lubrication and Service
2500 HOUR LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE CHECKS

1. WHEEL MOTORS - Check for spline and gear wear.
Refer to Motorized Wheel Maintenance Schedule in
Section P of the shop manual.
2. FRONT WHEELS - Drain and refill with oil.
a. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil from the
front wheel hub. Inspect and reinstall the drain plug.
b. If necessary, rotate the wheel hub to position the fill
plug at 12 o'clock.
c. Remove the fill plug.
d. Fill wheel hub assembly with SAE 80W-90 oil.
e. When properly filled, the floating ball in the sight
gauge will be at its highest position.
f. Replace the fill plug.
Use Lube Key C. Oil may need to be changed more
frequently, depending on mine conditions and the
results of the oil sample tests.
Complete the 10, 50, 100, 250, and 500 hour lubrica-
tion and maintenance checks.
5000 HOUR LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE CHECKS

1. AIR CLEANERS - Clean the Donaclone tubes in the
pre-cleaner section of the air filter. Use low pressure
cold water or low pressure air to clean the tubes.
Refer to Section C of the service manual for additional
information.
2. FRONT WHEELS - Check the front wheel bearing
preload, as per Section G in the Shop manual for Dis-
assembly and Assembly procedures.
Complete the 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, and 2500
hour lubrication and maintenance checks.
