Self -diagnosis f unct ion

This display is equipped w ith a self-diagnosis
function. If there is a problem w ith your display
or computer(s), the screen w ill go blank and the
Pow er LED indicator w ill either light up green or
flash amber. If the Pow er LED indicator is lit in
amber, the computer is in pow er saving mode.
Try pressing any key on the keyboard or moving
the mouse.
If t he pict ure disappears f rom t he
screen and t he Pow er LED indicat or is
green

Turn off t he Pow er but t on and disconnect
t he video signal cables f rom t he display.

Turn t he display on by pressing t he Pow er
but t on.
If all four color bars appear (w hite, red, green,
blue), the display is w orking properly. Reconnect
the video input cables and check to see if the
condition persists; if so you may have a computer
problem.
If the color bars do not appear, there is a
potential display failure. Inform your authorized
Sony dealer of the display's condition.

Press the Pow er button tw ice to turn the display
off and then on.
If the Pow er LED indicator lights up green, the
display is w orking properly.
If the Pow er LED indicator is still flashing, there is
a potential display failure. Count the number of
seconds betw een amber flashes of the Pow er
LED indicator and inform your authorized Sony
dealer of the display's condition. Be sure to note
the model name and serial number of your
display. Also note the make and model of your
computer and graphics board.
If t he Pow er LED indicat or light s up in
amber
Try pressing any key on the keyboard or moving
the mouse.
The display's Pow er Save mode is aw akened and
the Pow er LED indicator lights up in green, and
the picture appears on the screen.
