Replacing the lamp unit

If the projector is operating, turn off the power by the following procedure and wait for the lamp unit to cool down
before carrying out replacement.
Confirm the status of the lamp monitors (lamp indicators) <LAMP1> and <LAMP2> on the front of the projector.
The lamp unit corresponding to the lamp monitor (lamp indicator) <LAMP1> or <LAMP2> lit in red needs to be
replaced.
Press the STANDBY ( ) button on the projector or on the remote controller.

Select "Execute" with
$
(or press the STANDBY ( ) button again.)
The projection of the image will stop and the power monitor (power indicator) <STANDBY (RED)/ON
(GREEN)> of the projector will light up in orange. (The fan keeps running.)
Wait until the power monitor (power indicator) on front of the projector changes to red (i.e.,
%
until the fan stops).
Turn the power off by pressing the " " side of the <MAIN POWER> switch (<OFF> side).

Replacement procedure
1) Turn off the MAIN POWER switch, remove the power plug from the
power outlet, and then wait at least one hour before checking whether
the area surrounding the lamp unit has cooled down.
2)
Use a Phillips screwdriver to completely loosen the lamp unit cover

screw (x 1), and open the lamp unit cover in the direction of the arrow.
Slide the lamp unit cover toward the control buttons while holding it
$
tightly, and pull it outward to remove it.
3) Use a Phillips screwdriver to completely loosen the fixing screws for the
lamp units (x 3 each), and hold the handles to pull the lamp units out.
