LCD Messages

The LCD indicates the paper or transparency film size loaded in
the paper cassette, and the type of ribbon installed in the printer.
When the printer is ready to print, a message similar to
READY SB 3C PS
displays in the LCD. The SB in this example stands for Super B
media size, and the 3C in this example indicates that a 3-color
(CMY) ribbon is loaded in the ribbon cassette. The PS indicates
that the printer is ready to accept a PostScript job. The values in
these fields will vary, depending on the paper or transparency
film size and the type of ink ribbon installed in your printer.
Table 8-1 explains the various LCD messages which may
appear in this window.
