Description
MCS account log on name
(should be the same as the
SIP address)
MCS account password
For security, an asterisk (*)
appears for each character of
the password that you type.
MCS domain
IP address and port number
for the primary Wireless Client
Manager server.
The Wireless Client on your
BlackBerry uses the S1 and
S2 servers. When your device
communicates with a server
(for instance, by sending an
instant message), the Wireless
Client detects if the server is
unavailable, and then attempts
to communicate using the
other server. If no messages
are received from the S1
server in a defined length
of time (depending on the
value of the Device/Version
parameter), the Wireless Client
attempts to communicate with
the S2 server.
IP Address and port number
for the secondary Wireless
Client Manager server.
Note: The S1 and S2
addresses can be the same
if only one Wireless Client
Manager (WiCM) server is
installed.
