Symptom
No sound from rear or
center speakers.
Cannot be remote control-
led.
If the unit does not operate normally due to external effects such as static electricity, disconnect the power plug from the
outlet and insert again to return to normal operating conditions.
Cause
¶ Settings are incorrect.
¶ Rear or Center level is turned down.
¶ The REAR or CENTER speaker is discon-
nected.
¶ The remote control unit batteries have
worn out.
¶ Too great of a distance. Bad angle.
¶ There is an obstacle blocking signals in
between.
¶ Strong light such as fluorescent light is
shining onto the remote sensor of the main
unit.
Remedy
¶ Refer to pages 28 and 35, and set.
¶ Raise the level.
¶ Connect. (P. 12 and 13)
¶ Replace the batteries. (P. 7)
¶ Operate within 7m and 30 degrees from the
left and right of main unit's remote sensor.
¶ Remove the obstacle or operate from
somewhere else.
¶ Avoid direct exposure of the remote sen-
sor to the light.
