5. Operating modes

The APRO actuator range enables effective control of windows for maximum security and comfort. The ope-
rating modes are listed below:
NATURAL VENTILATION: opening the windows allows for effective air exchange and temperature con-
trol of the indoor environment.
PROGRAMMING: in combination with the gateway (*) (code A1126) it is possible to programme automa-
tic window opening and closing times (refer to the dedicated Gateway manual).
FIRE & SMOKE ALARM: The EFC function allows a +24V signal sent by the alarm control unit to activate
rapid window opening. Alarm mode has priority over all other commands. The signal must be active
for a minimum time of 5 seconds.
ELECTRO LOCK FUNCTION: by means of the APRO electro-locks it is possible to make windows more
secure by activating the classic locking of the window frames.
WATER & WIND SENSORS: in case of rain or strong wind, the actuator will receive the signal to close
the window. In any case, the EFC mode has priority. (please refer to the dedicated water and wind
sensors manual).
*gateway: the WiFi Gateway (code A1126) allows connection to a network of actuators, for monitoring and
control operations, both local and remote, via digital inputs and WiFi network.
