3. Maintenance and repair

It is recommended to have a qualified technician periodically check the actuator for correct instal-
lation, check for any signs of wear or damage on cables, brackets and mechanical parts. Disconnect
the power supply during cleaning and maintenance operations. In the event of a fault or malfunction,
switch off the actuator at the main switch and call in only qualified technical personnel.
All materials used in the construction of the actuator are recyclable. It is recommended that the actua-
tor itself, accessories, packaging, etc. be sent to an environmentally friendly reuse centre as stipulated
by current waste recycling laws.
The actuator complies with the ROHS regulation and consists mainly of the following materials: Alumi-
nium, Zinc, Iron, Various types of plastic, Copper. Dispose of materials in accordance with local disposal
regulations.

4. Formulas and installation tips

The following graph shows the minimum force required for the actuator to move the window alone. The for-
mula, valid for codes A1123.X and A1124.1, is useful for approximate calculations, but external factors such as
wind, water and snow are not considered.
Symbols used:
F [N] = Force required to open frame
C [cm] = Desired sash opening.
P [kg] = Sash weight.
H [cm] = Sash height.
**For protruding applications, check that the force required is compatible with the thrust diagram of the
actuator. Code A1123.X
Each Lock can simultaneously move up to 7 locking points with 1 corner gearbox or 6 locking points if 2
