1. Safety symbols used in the manual

DANGER: This indication is used to draw attention to potential dangers to the safety and health of
people and animals.
WARNING: This indication is used to draw attention to potential damage to property.
INFORMATION: This indication is used to provide further suggestions or information.
CAUTION: This indication is used to draw attention to potential dangers to the product.
ENVIRONMENTAL INSTRUCTION: This indication is used to draw attention to potential environmental
hazards.

2. Safety

Carefully read and understand the following safety instructions before installing the actuator.
The actuator may only be installed by competent and qualified technical personnel.
Keep any plastic bags, polystyrene, small metal items such as nails, staples, etc. out of the reach of
children because they are potential sources of danger.
The daily use of the actuator is not intended for persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities. Use by children must be supervised and playing with the actuator is also prohibited.
Before connecting the actuator to the power supply, check that the voltage matches the voltage indi-
cated on the label.
This actuator is only and exclusively intended for the use for which it was designed, as indicated on the
device label, the manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage due to improper use.
The actuator is intended for indoor and dry installation, installation in corrosive and humid environ-
ments is not permitted. For any special applications, please consult our technical customer service
in advance.
The product must not be subjected to shocks, falls or vibrations.
Do not wash the actuator with water jets or cleaning agents. Do not immerse in water.
Always request and use only original spare parts. Failure to comply with this rule may compromise
safety and void the benefits of the warranty applied to the device. For any special applications, please
consult the manufacturer in advance.

Ensure that the end-stop selection allows the window to be opened without encountering hindrances of
any kind, i.e. at least one centimetre less than the blocking of mechanical stops, stroke limiters or any
other physical hindrances to sash opening.
