25.1 Chain Saw and Battery

Always remove the battery before carrying out any inspection, cleaning or maintenance.

Chain saw does not
start when switched

3 LEDs glow

Chain saw cuts out 1 LED glows

Run-time is too short.

Possible Cause Remedy
No electrical contact ► Remove the battery, @ 17.2.

► Engage the chain brake, @ 16.1.

Battery has low ► Charge the battery, @ 13.
