25.1 Chain Saw and Battery

Always remove the battery before carrying out any inspection, cleaning or maintenance.

Chain saw does not
start when switched

Chain saw cuts out

Possible Cause
Remedy
No electrical contact
► Remove the battery, @ 17.2.
