Speaking into the microphone, say the voice name assigned to the
Private ID you want to call.

Your phone will play the name back to you. Press the PTT button when
the entry is displayed.
Receiving a Private Call
When you receive a Private Call, your phone emits a chirping sound. Private in
Use and the Private ID or the name of the caller (if stored in your Phonebook)
display on the screen.
To respond to a Private Call:

Wait for the caller to stop speaking.

Press and hold the PTT button. Begin talking after the phone emits a
chirping sound.

Release the PTT button to listen.
Storing Private IDs
For information on how to store Private IDs to your Phonebook, see "Adding
Phonebook Entries" on page 43.
For information on how to quickly store Private IDs, see "Storing Numbers and
Private IDs Fast" on page 46.

Call Alerts

You can send a Call Alert, which lets recipients know that you would like to talk
with them. When you send an alert, the recipient will receive a series of beeps
and your name or Private ID will appear on the display. If the person you are
trying to alert is unavailable, a message will display and the alert will not be
sent.
