Before you call Nextel Customer Care for service or to resolve an issue,
be sure to have your IMEI number and your Model number ready.
These numbers are located on a sticker behind the battery on the back of
your Nextel phone. Your IMEI number is a 15-digit number beginning
with "000". The Model number is a 10-digit alpha-numeric code
beginning with "831". You'll want to record these numbers, and keep
them handy, so that you can replace the battery prior to making your
call. Use the Quick Reference Card located on the back cover for easy
reference.
