Accessing an external
Bluetooth
audio source (A2DP)
®
You can also use Bluetooth
to bond an external
®
audio source whose functions are not fully control-
led by the PCRN but must be controlled at the
source itself.
For the bonding and control of external Blue-
tooth
audio sources the PCRN supports the
®
A2DP profile. The extent to which an external
Bluetooth
audio source can be controlled
®
by the PCRN depends on the functions sup-
ported by the audio source. In some cases,
the control of the external Bluetooth
source may be restricted. In other cases, the
source cannot be controlled by the PCRN at
all. Then you must use the control elements
provided at the bonded device. Please
observe the operating instructions of the cor-
responding device.
Risk of accident. Any distraction may lead to
a loss of control over your vehicle.
Only operate the external Bluetooth
source when it is safe to do so and when traf-
fic permits. If you have any doubt, stop and
operate the external Bluetooth
with the vehicle at standstill.
