Observe local regulations and specifications for the limits of the detection range of
the aspirating holes. The local regulations and specifications take priority over all
other information in this document. Observe the planning rules in the relevant
standards and guidelines.
The maximum monitored area depends on the topology selected and the total
maximum pipe length.
The maximum number of aspirating holes depends on the sensitivity and the class
A, B, or C (see software 'FXS2056 ASD Asyst‑Tool V3').
The minimum pipe length between two aspirating holes is 0.1 m. The maximum
gap between two aspirating holes is 10 m
The following limits are set for planning the pipe system depending on which
aspirating smoke detector is used.
