Description of functions
When using power tools (e.g. circular saws, angle grinders, compressors, pumps, etc.) or transformers, safety
elements are often triggered unintentionally. This is caused by start-up peaks occurring when such loads are
turned on. Our electronically controlled inrush current limiters reduce such start-up peaks to prevent the
upstream safety elements from being triggered unintentionally. Due to the reset time of <0.4s the device is
ready for use even shortly after turning off an electrical device.
NOTE:
The inrush current limitation should not be used for potential transformers and generators, which
cannot provide the required starting current of the respective loads.

• ASB 12-S: connector housing with integrated electric safety socket
• ASB 12-G: housing with electric safety socket IP54 (incl. cover) and
connection line (2.8m) with splashproof plug IP44
• ASB 12-H: housing for top hat rail mounting in control cabinets and
distribution boxes
