Failure of airbag warning
lamp

Ignition warning lamp
If it illuminates whilst driving,
switch off all unnecessary
electrical equipment and
drive immediately to the nearest
expert.
Engine warning lamp
The engine warning lamp
should extinguish as soon
as the engine starts. If it
illuminates with the engine running, it
indicates a malfunction. Have this
checked by an expert as soon as
possible. If it flashes, when driving,
reduce the vehicle speed
immediately. If it continues to flash,
avoid heavy acceleration or
deceleration. The engine will continue
to operate but it will have limited
engine power. Have your vehicle
checked by an expert immediately.
Engine coolant temperature
warning lamp
If the lamp flashes, the
engine is overheating. Stop
immediately and switch off
the ignition.
Instruments
Oil pressure warning lamp
switch off the engine and check the
engine oil level. See Engine oil check
(page 86). Top up straight away if
the level is low.
Low fuel level warning lamp
Direction indicator lamp
indicator bulb. If your vehicle has
been equipped with factory fitted
towing equipment, the control lamp
also warns of failure of the indicator
bulbs on the trailer.
Main beam indicator lamp
headlamp flasher is used.
AUDIBLE WARNINGS
AND INDICATORS
On some model variants an audible
signal will be heard if the driver s door
is opened with the exterior lamps
switched on.
