Throttle cable
1. Loosen nut (A) and adjust the length (B) to 5 - 6
mm by turning nut (C). Fix the length (B) by tighten-
ing nut (A).
1. Disassemble flexible pipe (A) from main pipe (B).
2. Insert plaited lead (C) (approx. 500mm) into flex-
ible pipe (A) as shown.
NOTE : Allow enough slack to assure free move-
ment of main pipe (B).
3. Insert copper pipe end of lead (D) into holes of
aluminized tape (E) and stick them to handle.
4. Wrap lead around flexible pipe to take up the slack
of lead with copper pipe (D).
5. Remove bolt (F) from lower engine cover and
securethe eyelet end of plaited lead (C), the open
eyelet end of lead with copper pipe (D) and the eye-
let end of lead (G) with bolt (F).
6. Route lead (G) behind fuel tank and below en-
gine, and secure the open eyelet end by nut of
throttle cable as shown.
