Every electrical connection operation must be carried
out with the mains o and the power supply discon-
nected. The Technician must also check that there is
no voltage present, by using a multimeter, for example.
The electrical system must be equipped with a protec-
tion device (46) that ensures an omnipolar disconnec-
tion from the mains with a contact opening distance
in overvoltage category III conditions and which guarantees a
suitable residual-current device, equal to 30 mA, in compliance
with current laws and safety regulations.
Always connect the motor pump cable before the ma-
chine power supply cable, by following the diagram
provided. Failure to comply with the instructions giv-
en above may cause serious damage to the machine and/or mo-
tor pump and will invalidate any guarantee.
We recommend that you promptly report any problems encoun-
tered during the appliance's installation to the Manufacturer.

Grinding and dosing co ee
It is important to have a grind-
er-dispenser next to the ma-
chine so that the co ee can be
ground on a daily basis.
To adjust the coarseness of
the ground co ee, use the ap-
propriate regulator located on
the grinder-dispenser hopper.
The co ee must be ground
and dispensed according to instructions provided by the man-
ufacturer of the grinder-dispenser. The following points should
also be kept in mind:
• To obtain a good espresso it is not recommended that you
store large amounts of co ee beans. Comply with the ex-
piry date indicated by the producer.
• Never grind large volumes of co ee, it is advisable to pre-
pare the amount that can be held in the dosing device and
if possible, use it by the end of the day.
• Do not buy pre-ground co ee, as it perishes quickly. If nec-
essary, buy co ee in small vacuum-sealed packs.
To adjust the coarseness of the ground co ee, use the
appropriate regulator located on the grinder-dispens-
er hopper.
Cup warmer (if fitted)
6.3
For safety reasons, we do not recommend placing
cloths or other objects on the cup warmer shelf in or-
der to prevent the machine from overheating.
HIGH TEMPERATURE HAZARD: the cup warmer can
reach temperatures that may cause burns. Be very
careful.
Place the cups to be heated on the cup heater (7). Turn ON the
of the service button panel (6).
