Restore the rating plate with the converter of the original machine

The chapter describes restoring the electronic rating plate of the motor in the encoder with the
data from the converter of the machine from which the motor was removed.
Preconditions for the next steps
Unpredictable motor motion with an encoder that has not yet been programmed
If you commission the motor with an encoder that has not been programmed, then the motor
can move unpredictably, which in turn can cause death or severe injury.
• Before you commission the motor, restore the electronic rating plate of the motor.
• The motor is electrically connected.
• There must not be any data on the encoder (brand-new encoder).
If data is already loaded to the encoder, then you must first completely clear data from the
encoder. In this case, go to Chapter "This is how you delete the electronic rating plate on an
encoder (Page 54)".
• Your end device (PC, laptop, tablet, smart phone...) is connected to the CU (Control Unit) via
Ethernet interface X127.
• You have administrator rights to access the web server.
Determine the component number of the motor with the replaced encoder from Alarm message
A1840
Procedure
1. Switch on the CU.
2. To open the Web server, enter IP address 169.254.11.22 in your web browser.
3. Log in as administrator.
