2. Grasp the drawer on each side and hook the drawer
supports into the rail tabs located on both sides.
CAUTION: Do not hold the handle when removing
or replacing the drawer. The handle could come off,
causing personal injury.
3. Lower the door into its final position and insert the
screws in the rails on both sides.
4. Insert the drawer into the frame, and push the drawer
back until it clicks into place.
5. Replace the ice bin in the drawer. Insert the Durabase
basket in the rail assembly.

REVERSING DOOR OPENING DIRECTION

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect the electrical supply to the refrigerator
before installing. Failure to do so could result in
serious injury or death.
Do not put hands, feet or other objects into the air
vents or bottom of the refrigerator. You may be
injured or receive an electrical shock.
CAUTION
• Before you begin, remove food and bins from the door.
• Use two or more people to remove and install the
refrigerator door and freezer drawer.
NOTE
• To assist in the installation of the handle on the right
side, place a piece of masking tape near the top of the
handle before removing it.
• The appearance of the handle may vary from what is
shown in the illustrations.
Tools Needed
• 3/32 in (2.5 mm) Allen wrench
• 3/16 in. (5 mm) Allen wrench
• 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) Allen wrench and hex socket wrench
• No. 2 Phillips screwdrivers
• 10mm or 13/32-inch socket wrench (with 2-inch
extension for bottom door hinge
Moving the Refrigerator Handle
1. Loosen the set screws (1) with a 3/32 in (2.5 mm) Allen
wrench and remove the handle.
2. Loosen the mounting fasteners (2) that connect to the
refrigerator door and handle using a 1/4 in. (6.35 mm)
Allen wrench, and remove the mounting fasteners.
3. Carefully rotate the plug buttons (3) counterclockwise
with your fingers until they loosen and fall out. The
buttons can be unscrewed using your index finger,
thumb or both. Once they're removed, install the plug
buttons (4) on the left side.
