• Want to turn off a sound? Press the left soft
key (-) (Start). Scroll to Settings, then Sounds, and
select None.
Tip: You can eliminate the ringer volume instantly
when an incoming call comes in—just use the thumb
wheel to turn the ringer off.

handsfree speaker

Note: The use of wireless phones while driving may
cause distraction. Discontinue a call if you can't
concentrate on driving. Additionally, the use of
wireless devices and their accessories may be
prohibited or restricted in certain areas. Always obey
the laws and regulations on the use of these products.
To use your phone's handsfree speaker, press the

speakerphone key (
Note: The handsfree speaker won't work when your
phone is connected to a car kit or headset. With a

Bluetooth headset press the right soft key (+) (Menu),
scroll to Handsfree Off. Press the right soft key (+) (Menu)
and scroll to Speakerphone On.
lock & unlock phone
You can manually lock your phone to prevent
accidental key presses.
To lock your phone, press the home key (
then the space bar. Your left soft key becomes Unlock.
To unlock your phone, press the left soft key
(-) (Unlock). Then, enter your password and
press Unlock again. If you have not set a password,
press the left soft key (-) (Unlock) and then *.
To keep others from using your phone, change your
password:
