Making and Answering Calls

For basic instructions on how to make a call, end a call, or answer a call, see
page 13.

Redialing a Number

If you hear an ordinary busy signal:

Using Automatic Redial

If the network is busy, you hear a fast busy signal, and your phone displays
Failed.
With automatic redial, your phone automatically redials the number for four
minutes. When the call goes through, your phone rings one time, displays
Successful, and then connects the call.
You must turn on automatic redial to use the feature. See the "Auto Redial" option
on page 45.
When automatic redial is turned off, you can manually activate the feature to redial
a phone number. When you hear a fast busy signal and see
