OPERATION
1.
Use the air shutter to prevent
carburetor troubles in cold
weather.
2.
Use T-Wrench to open air filter
cover latch. Disconnect spark
plug lead.
3.
Push the air shutter DOWN to
cold position (snowman mark is
shown) when outside air temperature is 5° C (41° F) or lower.
4.
For operation above 5° C (41° F) return the air shutter to the original UP
position (sun mark is shown).
Starting Cold Engine
Make sure the bar and chain are free from any obstruction when
starting the chainsaw.
1.
Move chain brake lever fully
FORWARD to LOCK chain
brake before starting.
2.
Fill the fuel tank with fuel
mixture. Do not over fill.
3.
Fill the chain oil tank with
lubricant. Do not over fill.
4.
Move stop switch FORWARD
to "RUN" position.
5.
Push purge pump 3 to 4 times
or until fuel is visible in purge
pump.
