15. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
1. The machine will not switch on.
2. The battery charger does
not charge the batteries
3. Irregular cutting
4. Unusual vibrations during use.
5. The icon in fig. 7.E remains ON
and battery LEDs 2 and 5 flash.
6. The icon in fig. 7.N flashes.
All the other indications in the
push-button panel (icons/LEDs)
remain functional and visible.
7. The icons in fig. 7.E and
fig. 7.O remain ON, battery
LEDs , 2, and 4 flash.
Cause
Low battery.
Batteries not mounted
correctly in the charger.
Unsuitable environmental conditions.
Dirty contacts.
No power supply to the
battery charger .
Faulty battery charger.
Cutting means sharpening
is reduced.
High forward speed in relation to
the height of the grass to be cut.
Cutting means assembly
full of grass.
Cutting means incorrectly balanced.
Cutting means loose.
Loose parts.
Possible damage
Battery current overload caused by:
1. Work conditions too demanding.
2. Slope too steep .
Pre-alarm for battery, drive motor
and/or cutting means motor
over-temperature because of:
1. Work conditions too demanding.
Battery over/under
temperature caused by:
1. Work conditions too demanding.
2. Unsuitable environmental
conditions.

Remedy
Charge the battery (par. 8.2.2).
Make sure they are correctly
inserted (fig. 33).
Recharge the battery in places with
suitable temperatures (see battery/
battery charger instruction manual).
Clean the contacts.
Check it is plugged in and the
power socket is energised.
Replace with an original spare part.
If the problem persists, refer to
the battery charger manual.
Contact an Authorised
Service Centre.
Reduce advancing speed and/
or increase the cutting height.
Wait for the grass to dry.
Clean the cutting means assembly.
Contact an Authorised Service
Centre for verifications,
replacements or repairs.
Reduce forward speed:
Increase the cutting height:
Reduce the forward speed and
check the slope of the ground
where you are working.
