For optimal performance and
maximum sensitivity, allow

the IR LD 1.0 to operate in
High Sensitivity mode for 5–10
minutes before use.

After the
warm-up cycle, the
default to High sensitivity and Au-
tomatic reset mode.

To change the sensitivity level,
press the Sensitivity button (see
Fig. 2; item 6):
Pressing the Sensitivity button
repeatedly will cycle through
the three sensitivity levels (see
Fig. 2; item 6).

available in Automatic mode.
6.4
The IR LD 1.0 can be set to either
automatically (default) or manual-
ly recalibrate to the ambient level
of refrigerant and reset the alarm
after detection. Both modes al-
low the user to reset the baseline
detection level; which allows for
probing closer to the leak source
without the detector continually
alarming.
