Figure A illustrates the connection of a 2-wire sensor at the 24 V counter
input. The sensor signal is supplied to the terminal point S+. The sensor
is supplied by the voltage U
Figure B illustrates the connection of a 3-wire sensor at the 24 V counter
input. The sensor signal is supplied to the terminal point S+. The sensor
is supplied via the U

A 24 V sensor at the control input is connected in exactly the same way
as a 24 V sensor at the counter input. Observe the terminal assignment of
the counter terminal ("Assignment of the Terminal Points" on page 1-4).
