    ASSEMBLY UNPACKING REAR  Carefully remove the product from the carton and place on a level work surface.  Cut tie-wraps before operating. REAR LOCK WARNING: KNOB Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled or if any parts appear to be missing or damaged. Use of a product that is not properly and completely assembled could result in serious personal injury.
  • Page 4 ASSEMBLY CAUTION: To reduce the risk of injury, never attempt to lift the work station until the rear leg has been properly secured in place. FOOT PEDAL FOLDING AND/OR CARRYING THE WORK RELEASE STATION See Figures 5 - 7.  Pull the lock/unlock latch up to unlock.  Step down on the foot pedal letting the pedal rise to release the clamps.

    OPERATION SLIDING WARNING: CLAMP Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is FIXED sufficient to inflict severe injury. CLAMP WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1.
  • Page 6 OPERATION UNCLAMPING THE WORKPIECE See Figure 10. Always support the workpiece BEFORE unclamping it to prevent the workpiece from falling off the work station.  Pull the lock/unlock latch up to unlock.  Step down on the foot pedal then let the pedal rise releasing the force on the workpiece.

    OPERATION USING AS AN ANVIL See Figure 13. When the rubber clamp pads are removed from both clamps, the fixed clamp on the work station is strong enough to use as an anvil for strip metal work. (See Replacing the Clamp Pads in the Maintenance section for pad removal instructions.) NOTE: Only the fixed clamp may be used as an anvil.

    MAINTENANCE WARNING: BACK CLAMP FRONT CLAMP When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. GENERAL MAINTENANCE Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
