HDMI Connection (Upconversion)

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is a new type of connection that transmits digital
audio and video signals simultaneously over a single cable.
The HDMI jack of the DVD player is capable of outputting upconverted DVD video at resolutions
up to 1080i (1080-interlaced). Connect the player's HDMI output to a TV with HDMI input (re-
quired).
The HDMI connection must be used for upconverted DVD video.
The HDMI connection must be enabled in the Setup menu prior to use. Please refer
to the Setup section for more details.
Your television must be able to accept an HDMI connection.
