SATA Configuration
During system boot up, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices. In
the SATA Configuration menu, you can see the hardware currently installed in the SATA
ports.
SATA Controller(s)
Enable or disable the SATA Controller feature. The default is Enabled.
VMD Setup Menu
VMD Configuration settings. The default is Disabled.
Hot Plug
Designates this port as Hot Pluggable.
Spin Up Device
Staggered Spin Up will be performed when any of the drive is enabled for the performance
strategy. Otherwise, all drives spin up at boot. Only HDD supports this function.
SATA Device Type
Identify the SATA port is connected to a solid-state drive (SSD) or hard disk drive (HDD).
