• Throttle – check for smooth opening and
full closing in all steering positions.
Adjust freeplay if necessary (pages 73 –
74).
• Indicators – check for normal operation of
the indicators (page 22 – 23).
• Clutch – check operation, and adjust if
necessary (pages 28 – 29).
• Spark plug and high tension terminal –
check for looseness (pages 71 – 72).
• Engine stop switch – check for proper
function (page 40).
• Nuts, bolts, fasteners – check the front
and rear wheels to see that the axle nuts
are tightened securely. Check security of
all other nuts, bolts, and fasteners.
