What to do in an emergency
僅 When a vehicle fire occurs due to the
battery, there is a risk of a second fire.
Contact the fire department when
towing the vehicle.
Dinghy towing

Your vehicle is not designed to be din-
ghy towed (with 4 wheels on the
ground) behind a motor home. To avoid
serious damage to your vehicle, do not
tow your vehicle with four wheels on the
ground.
Towing without wheel dollies
when using a towing service
When towing your vehicle in an emer-
gency without wheel dollies:
1. While depressing the brake pedal shift
to the N (Neutral) position and turn
the vehicle off. The START/STOP but-
ton will be in the ACC position.
2. Place the shifter dial in N (Neutral).
3. Release the parking brake.
CAUTION
Towing gear position
Failure to shift to N (Neutral) may cause
internal damage to the vehicle.
