Parts and Functions

Indoor unit
Note:
The wired control type unit ought to be checked using a wired controller, instead of a remote receiver. Also, if
you set the TIMER function, the TIMER LED on the remote receiver will not be on.
Airflow direction control
When you switch on the Up/Down Airflow button, the outlet guide plate changes its position, as documented here:
COOL/DRY/FAN:
Fixing the Outlet Direction
Select the desired airflow direction and press the Air Direction button to fix the air direction.
The upper/lower flaps facilitating the airflow direction indicate the followingpositions, when fixing the wind
direction:
Upward turned guide plate indicates the cooling and drying mode
Downward turned guide plate indicates heating mode
• Ensure that the outlet plates or flaps are always adjusted only using the air Direction button on the remote
control; manual adjustment may lead tomalfunctioning of the device.
• It is not advisable to constantly position the outlet guide plates in the downward direction, lest the cooling and
drying modes are activated, as the condensation close to outlet grille condenses and resultant water drips
down from theunit.
