These can be changed to other values if required by a particu-
lar application.

Dial Options/EIA-366 Timing

EIA-366 dialers can end a string of dialed numbers by sending
the end of number (EON) to alert the ISU 512e that the entire
number has been sent. Another method is to stop sending
numbers and allow the ISU to time out, then dial the number.
Use the following options to fine-tune the dialed number ter-
mination.

The ISU 512e assumes the dial string is
fully entered if more than 1 second
elapses since input of the last digit, or the
unit receives the EON command.
The ISU 512e assumes the dial string is
fully entered if more than 2 seconds
elapse since input of the last digit, or the
unit receives the EON command.
The ISU 512e assumes the dial string is
fully entered if more than 5 seconds
elapse since input of the last digit, or an
EON command is received. This is the
factory default setting.
