Dial Options/V.25 Options

Configuring the ISU 512e for HDLC (M
dialing over a DTE interface using standard synchronous
HDLC V.25 bis commands with Mark Idle. Configuring the
ISU 512e for HDLC (F
DTE interface using standard synchronous HDLC V.25 bis
commands with 7E HEX idle.
The ISU 512e supports V.25 bis in-band dialing in accordance
with Fascicle VIII.I - V.25 bis (Malaga-Torremolinos 1984,
Melbourne 1988). Recommendation V.25 uses the following
DCE/DTE control signals:
Transmitted data
Received data
Ready for sending
Data set ready
Data terminal ready
Calling indicator
The ISU 512e supports the following V.25 commands to con-
trol automatic calling and answering:
CRN
CRS
PRN
RLN
CIC
DIC
When using stored numbers, V.25 bis accesses stored
numbers
