    DETAILED SETUP GUIDE BATTERY INSTALLATION The battery is included in the clock with a plastic insulating strip that needs to be removed to activate the clock. Using a coin, turn the battery cover slightly counter-clockwise. Take off the cover; you may need to pry it off using a paperclip or other small object. Remove the plastic from under the battery.
