STATUS DISPLAY
The following are the various status messages that
indicate the state of the compressor:
PWRUP DLY- This message will be displayed for
five (5) seconds when the power is applied to the
panel. The purpose of this mode is to block false
shutdowns, until five (5) seconds have passed. The
purpose of the delay is for the analog instrumenta-
tion to have a chance to come up to their proper
readings.
STANDBY- This message indicates that no class
"A" shutdowns exist, and the engine is ready for
starting.
RESETTING- This message will be displayed while
a shutdown or an alarm is being reset.
CRANK ON- This message will be displayed while
the Crank is engaged during the cranking cycle.
CRANK OFF- This message will be displayed while
the Crank is dis-engaged during the cranking cycle.
WARMUP- This message will be displayed while
the five (5) minute Warmup Delay has not expired,
or the engine coolant temperature has not reached
the Warm up temperature setpoint.
RUNNING- This message will be displayed while
the compressor is operating.
COOLDOWN- This message will be displayed
while the five (5) minute Cooldown Delay is timing.
SHUTDOWN- This message will be displayed while
the system is shutdown.
The following are the status messages that indicate
the state of the engine:
NORMAL- Ready to run or running properly.
ALARMING- Engine warning is present.
SHUTDOWN- Engine shutdown is present.

5.3.2 MDDM

The following engine parameters can be viewed by
pressing the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows:

5.4 PARAMETER SETUP

System variables may be examined and edited by
entering the PROGRAM SELECT MODE. To enter
this mode, perform the following:
ENTRY CODE
1. Press the DOWN ARROW KEY on the front
panel until the set pressure appears.
2. Press the center, "CIRCLE" key to display the
message, "ENTRY ACTIVE, ENTER
CODE #:0".
3. The UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW keys are
then used to cause the display to increment or
decrement the Entry Code Number. The following
code numbers are within the program:
#64, for "S" numbers
#33, for "M" numbers
4. After the desired code number has been entered,
the center, "CIRCLE" key is pressed, which places
the controller into the PROGRAM SELECT MODE.
If an incorrect number is entered; or, if the entry
is not completed within ten (10) seconds, the
display will indicate, "PROGRAM ENTRY
ATTEMPT FAILED". Pressing any key will clear
the message and re-display the "TITLE PAGE" to
allow another attempt to enter the entry code.
The center, "CIRCLE" key will cause the "PRO-
GRAM ENTRY ACTIVE, ENTER CODE #_____"
message to again be displayed, allowing for a
new entry attempt.
SELECTING A VARIABLE NUMBER
Each field programmable- and system- generated
variable has been assigned a unique "PROGRAM
NUMBER". Set the controller into the 'PROGRAM
SELECT MODE", and press the UP ARROW and
DOWN ARROW keys as necessary to advance for-
