be used as a child car seat; it is not
meant for use indoors.
• In some cases the vehicle seat belt
buckle may be too long and exceed
the expected height from the bot-
tom of the seat (Fig. 4). In this case
the seat must not be fixed on that
seat but must be installed on anoth-
er seat on which there is no problem.
For more information, contact your
car manufacturer.
• Group 2/3. When using in vehicles
equipped with rear vehicle seat belt
with integrated air bags (inflatable
seat belts), follow the car manufac-
turer's instruction manual.
5. ISOFIX
AND
INSTALLATION
WARNING! The text and figures of
these instructions refer to the installa-
tion of the child car seat on the right
back seat. Follow the same steps to
install the car seat in other positions.
Isofix connector installation
• Pull the support leg (S) out from un-
der the base of the car seat (Fig. 5).
• Position the car seat on the seat of
the vehicle.
• Extract the Isofix connectors (P) com-
pletely, using the Isofix connector
buttons (Q) (Fig. 6).
• To make it easier to fasten the Isofix
connectors, use the special plastic
guides provided, attaching them to
the vehicle's Isofix hooks (Fig. 7.1).
• Attach the Isofix connectors to the
Isofix hooks located between the
backrest and the seat of the vehicle.
A click will be heard once the con-

nection is made and the indicator (R)
will become green. (fig.7.2)
• Push the car seat back towards the
backrest of the seat until it touches
the backrest (Fig. 7.3).
Installing the support leg (only for
Gr. 0+ and Gr. 1)
After having installed the base on the
seat of the vehicle:
• Adjust the support leg (S) using the
adjustment buttons (U) (Fig. 8.1).
• Position the support leg (S) so that it
adheres firmly to the floor of the ve-
hicle (Fig. 8.2), once the support leg
has been positioned correctly the
indicator (T) will turn green (Fig. 8.3).
If the indicator is red, the support leg
has not been positioned correctly.
WARNING! Use of the support leg
(S) is forbidden in the Group 2/3
configuration. Make sure that the
support leg is not resting against
the floor of the vehicle and has
been shortened to its minimum
length (Fig. 8.4). In this case the in-
dicator for the support leg (T) will
remain red.
Removing the Isofix connectors
and the support leg
To remove the car seat, free the sup-
port leg from the floor of the vehicle
using the adjustment buttons (U) to
shorten the leg, then disconnect the
Isofix connectors using the buttons
(Q). Push the connectors all the way
into the housing.
